Since the first race through downtown Cañon City in 2005, the annual RunBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City.
The runBlossom 5K event showcases the Arkansas Rivewalk Trail, running alongside the river and through some of the most scenic portions of the area.
Join the competitive wave for a fast-paced 5K course with traditional age group awards.
This wave starts bright and early at 8:00 am.
Or, for a more relaxed pace, join the '5K...

Since the first race through downtown Cañon City in 2005, the annual RunBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City.
The runBlossom 5K event showcases the Arkansas Rivewalk Trail, running alongside the river and through some of the most scenic portions of the area.
Join the competitive wave for a fast-paced 5K course with traditional age group awards.
This wave starts bright and early at 8:00 am.
Or, for a more relaxed pace, join the '5K Jog/Walk + YETI' wave at 8:45 am.
All waves start and end at Centennial park in downtown Cañon City, Colorado.
All bibbed individuals must complete the race under their own power (unless registered in the Rider category).
If pushed in a stroller, children may NOT have a bib and compete for age-level awards.
Includes: Race bib, swag bag, aid station support T-shirts may be added as an add-on during online checkout for an additional $20 (short sleeve) or $25 (long sleeve) by April 17.

This 4-mile casual run/walk winds through the Zoo and up to Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun, with giraffe, lions and elephants along the way.
Enjoy stunning views of Colorado Springs below while ascending nearly 1,000 feet in elevation, before descending back down into the Zoo.
Run to the Shrine is the ONLY time foot traffic is allowed on Shrine Road.
Participants will start the ascent at their leisure,...

Since the Zoo is a nonprofit that does not receive any tax support, community fundraisers like Run to the Shrine help keep the Zoo “running.”

The exhibit showcases artworks from all over, with themes ranging from the history and aesthetic of bicycles to modern cycling culture.
This year's theme is Cirque du Bike, and we'll be featuring circus themed bicycle artwork and classic bikes, as well as local vendors and circus performers, with live music and food trucks to round out the night.
Roll Bike Art Festival is a yearly celebration of the bicycle through all mediums of art.
The exhibit showcases artworks from all over, with themes ranging from the history and aesthetic of bicycles to modern cycling culture.

Did you know, each year, Garden of the Gods Ten Mile Run® gives back thousands of dollars to the local community?
With the Aid Station Challenge and the addition of the Garden of the Gods Trail race, we are committed to giving back to area high schools as well as to the Garden of the Gods Park.
In 2023, the runners and our race organization, Pikes Peak Marathon, Inc., donated $7,695 to the high school track and cross-country teams that participated in the Aid Station Challenge. From the Trail Race entry fees and a dollar-for-dollar match from our organization, we were able to donate a total of $3,960 towards the restoration and repair of the Garden of the Gods trails.
The addition of the VIP Race Experience in 2021 allowed our partners at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center to donate another $3750 to the trail preservation within Garden of the Gods Park.
The Garden of the Gods Ten Mile Run® really is the race that gives back!

In 2023, the runners and our race organization, Pikes Peak Marathon, Inc., donated $7,695 to the high school track and cross-country teams that participated in the Aid Station Challenge. From the Trail Race entry fees and a dollar-for-dollar match from our organization, we were able to donate a total of $3,960 towards the restoration and repair of the Garden of the Gods trails.
The addition of the VIP Race Experience in 2021 allowed our partners at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center to donate another $3750 to the trail preservation within Garden of the Gods Park.
The Garden of the Gods Ten Mile Run® really is the race that gives back!
