Dear Partners and Friends,
2025 was a big year for the Pikes Peak region and for PPORA. Together, we reached a major milestone with the completion and launch of the Outdoor Pikes Peak Initiative (OPPI) Vision Plan—creating a shared path forward for recreation, conservation, and stewardship in
our region. Even more exciting, we’re already seeing that vision come to life. From securing significant investment through the Peak Exceptionalism project to advancing land manager collaboration and regional stewardship efforts, real progress is underway. At the same time, we continued to strengthen the outdoor economy— supporting workforce development, convening industry leaders, and expanding resources that connect people to the outdoors. What makes this work special is the partnership behind it. Throughout the year, we brought together a growing network of organizations, businesses, and community leaders who care deeply about the people, special places, and wildlife that are so important to this region. We also continued to show up in important conversations, making sure the Pikes Peak region has a voice in decisions shaping outdoor recreation and conservation. This progress is only possible because of you —our partners, supporters, and community. Thank you for being part of it. We have a lot to build on, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!
