A crossroads of six different ecosystems helps bring a diversity of possible sightings. We will follow the Gateway Trail to the Central Garden Trail looping back through the Dakota Trail. About Sky High Ranch
Located in a forested, rustic setting one hour northwest of Colorado Springs, Sky High Ranch is Girl Scouts' home away from home in the Pike National Forest. While camp buildings are heated, guests should dress and come prepared for possibly chilly mountain weather at this high-altitude property! While we can make some accommodations for mobility concerns, automobile use is limited at camp - please come prepared for walking around camp. A detailed packing list and maps will be sent to participants before the event. All restroom facilities are vault toilets.
Overnight guests must bring their own linens, either a sleeping bag or twin-sized bedroll, and pillows.
Meals
All participants will be provided lunch on the days they are registered to attend courses.
Friday overnight guests should plan to eat dinner before arrival.
Saturday overnight guests will be provided dinner.
All overnight guests will be provided breakfast the following morning(s).
We will do our best to honor all dietary restrictions and allergies. Please be sure to provide us with this information during registration.
Lodging
Overnight stays will cost participants an additional $40 per night. This cost includes meals noted above.
Courses offered at Sky High Ranch OWLS Weekend include:
Adult Archery Training: Become certified to lead beginner Archery programs. USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification.
Fun Facilitator: Learn the camp facilitator ropes with hands-on training in leading songs, games, traditions, and inclusive outdoor experiences that make Girl Scouting unforgettable.
Happy Camper: This no-training, no-pressure experience is all about being a kid again. Come play, relax, connect, and enjoying camp for the sheer fun of it.
Wilderness and Remote First Aid: Become certified in Wilderness and Remote First Aid for remote outdoor adventures.
Youth Mental Health First Aid: Designed for both volunteers and caregivers, Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches practical tools for supporting mental wellness and responding to youth in crisis.
American Red Cross First Aid/AED/CPR: Become certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED use.
Kitchen Crew: Learn how to use an industrial kitchen, prep and cook meals for large groups, and learn the foundations of food safety as part of our Kitchen Crew - earn your ServSafe Food Handler's Certification!
Financial Aid is available for members only.

Designated parking for persons with disabilities is available in the overflow lot. An accessible vehicle into the main parking lot will be available in the overflow lot upon request on Motorless Morning for those guests who need it.

About Sky High Ranch
Located in a forested, rustic setting one hour northwest of Colorado Springs, Sky High Ranch is Girl Scouts' home away from home in the Pike National Forest. While camp buildings are heated, guests should dress and come prepared for possibly chilly mountain weather at this high-altitude property! While we can make some accommodations for mobility concerns, automobile use is limited at camp - please come prepared for walking around camp. A detailed packing list and maps will be sent to participants before the event. All restroom facilities are vault toilets.
Overnight guests must bring their own linens, either a sleeping bag or twin-sized bedroll, and pillows.
Meals
All participants will be provided lunch on the days they are registered to attend courses.
Friday overnight guests should plan to eat dinner before arrival.
Saturday overnight guests will be provided dinner.
All overnight guests will be provided breakfast the following morning(s).
We will do our best to honor all dietary restrictions and allergies. Please be sure to provide us with this information during registration.
Lodging
Overnight stays will cost participants an additional $40 per night. This cost includes meals noted above.
Courses offered at Sky High Ranch OWLS Weekend include:
Adult Archery Training: Become certified to lead beginner Archery programs. USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification.
Fun Facilitator: Learn the camp facilitator ropes with hands-on training in leading songs, games, traditions, and inclusive outdoor experiences that make Girl Scouting unforgettable.
Happy Camper: This no-training, no-pressure experience is all about being a kid again. Come play, relax, connect, and enjoying camp for the sheer fun of it.
Wilderness and Remote First Aid: Become certified in Wilderness and Remote First Aid for remote outdoor adventures.
Youth Mental Health First Aid: Designed for both volunteers and caregivers, Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches practical tools for supporting mental wellness and responding to youth in crisis.
American Red Cross First Aid/AED/CPR: Become certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED use.
Kitchen Crew: Learn how to use an industrial kitchen, prep and cook meals for large groups, and learn the foundations of food safety as part of our Kitchen Crew - earn your ServSafe Food Handler's Certification!
Financial Aid is available for members only.

Visitors can park their vehicles at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center (1805 30th Street), Garden of the Gods Trading Post (324 Beckers Lane, Manitou Springs), or in the overflow parking lot at Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site (corner of 30th Street and Gateway Road).
Designated parking for persons with disabilities is available in the overflow lot. An accessible vehicle into the main parking lot will be available in the overflow lot upon request on Motorless Morning for those guests who need it.
