Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area
Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area is a popular and charming location for those who enjoy fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding under the beautiful blue Colorado sky. It is a 36-acre regional recreation site nestled at the foot of picturesque Ben Lomand Mountain. The lake and a long stretch of the New Sante Fe Regional Trail provide many open vistas and beautiful surroundings. A walking path winds around the southern half of the willow-lined lake.
Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area is open year round, requires no entry fee, and is 4.2 miles from the nearest bus stop.
