Four Mile Creek – Shelf Road

Fourmile Creek along Shelf Road is somewhat limiting before it hits the Arkansas River in Canon City. Because of the lower elevation this area can be a great place to go in early spring or late fall.

Most of the property along this lower section is privately owned, but there are a few sections of state and BLM land that is accessible, each about a mile of access.
